Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Departure at daybreak by Vladimir Donatovich Orlovsky was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2010. The price achieved of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 89,078.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Donatovich Orlovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Out At Pasture, Summer in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 464,000.00 (€ 367,553.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Departure at daybreak von Vladimir Donatovich Orlovsky wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 89.078,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vladimir Donatovich Orlovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Out At Pasture, Summer im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 464.000,00 (€ 367.553,87).
