Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 41,645.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Admittedly, works by Vladimir Donatovich Orlovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Out At Pasture, Summer in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 464,000.00 (€ 367,553.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A shepherdess and her flock in a forest von Vladimir Donatovich Orlovsky wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 41.645,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vladimir Donatovich Orlovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Out At Pasture, Summer im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 464.000,00 (€ 367.553,87).
