Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work "Lantligt monument" by Waldemar Lorentzon for SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,705.49). This price was achieved in the auction Moderna at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Waldemar Lorentzon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Tennisspelare" / "The tennis players" in May 2021 with an auction result of SEK 3,050,000.00 (€ 301,148.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Lantligt monument" von Waldemar Lorentzon für SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.705,49) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Moderna bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Waldemar Lorentzon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Tennisspelare" / "The tennis players" im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.050.000,00 (€ 301.148,11).
