The work CALLIGRAPHY by Wang Fangyu was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2015. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,862.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Fangyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cold Mountain, which sold at auction in September 2020 for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,400.41).

Die Arbeit CALLIGRAPHY von Wang Fangyu kam im März 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.862,02) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Fangyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cold Mountain beobachtet, die im September 2020 für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.400,41) versteigert wurde.
