Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Poem By Li Bai by Wang Fangyu was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2011. It achieved a price of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,233.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Wang Fangyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cold Mountain in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,400.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Poem By Li Bai von Wang Fangyu kam im März 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.233,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Fangyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cold Mountain im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.400,41).
