The »bidding war« ended at USD 875.00 (€ 616.94), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Fangyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cold Mountain in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,400.41).

Die Arbeit Poem Of Willow Blossoms von Wang Fangyu wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Magnificent Qing Monochrome Porcelains and Earlier Works of Art from the Gordon Collection bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 875,00 (€ 616,94) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Fangyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cold Mountain im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.400,41).
