Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Park Monceau - Paris by Willy Boers for EUR 1,314.50. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willy Boers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pseudozoisch (schijnbaar dierlijk), which sold at auction in September 2001 for EUR 5,170.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Park Monceau - Paris von Willy Boers für EUR 1.314,50 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Willy Boers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pseudozoisch (schijnbaar dierlijk) beobachtet, die im September 2001 für EUR 5.170,00 versteigert wurde.
