Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Bathing Beach by Wu Zuo Ren was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2003. The price achieved of HKD 310,700.00 (€ 34,444.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 260,000.00 – 360,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wu Zuo Ren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chung-Qing in Flame in October 2002 with an auction result of HKD 1,724,100.00 (€ 223,691.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Bathing Beach von Wu Zuo Ren kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 310.700,00 (€ 34.444,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 260.000,00 – 360.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Zuo Ren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chung-Qing in Flame im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.724.100,00 (€ 223.691,55).
