Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Protraction by Wyndham Lewis was auctioned at Christies in London in March this year. The price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 71,674.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Wyndham Lewis have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March this year the work Dancing Figures was auctioned for GBP 107,100.00 (€ 121,846.94).
