Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Landscape Inspired By Poem by Xing Baozhuang. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,939.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xing Baozhuang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Drinking Beside The River, which sold at auction in November 2005 for HKD 120,000.00 (€ 13,129.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape Inspired By Poem von Xing Baozhuang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.939,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xing Baozhuang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Drinking Beside The River beobachtet, die im November 2005 für HKD 120.000,00 (€ 13.129,77) versteigert wurde.
