Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Literary Gathering Beneath Autumn Trees by Xing Baozhuang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,144.00 (€ 5,804.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xing Baozhuang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Drinking Beside The River, which sold at auction in November 2005 for HKD 120,000.00 (€ 13,129.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Literary Gathering Beneath Autumn Trees von Xing Baozhuang wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.144,00 (€ 5.804,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Xing Baozhuang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Drinking Beside The River beobachtet, die im November 2005 für HKD 120.000,00 (€ 13.129,77) versteigert wurde.
