Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Xing Baozhuang could be acquired at China Guardian in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Portrait Of Mr. Zhao Shao’Ang changed hands for HKD 1,200.00 (€ 133.48) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xing Baozhuang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drinking Beside The River in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 13,129.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xing Baozhuang konnte im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wechselte die Arbeit Portrait Of Mr. Zhao Shao’Ang für HKD 1.200,00 (€ 133,48) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xing Baozhuang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Drinking Beside The River im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 13.129,77).
