Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Under The Weeping Willow by Xing Baozhuang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2000. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,900.00 (€ 4,970.28). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xing Baozhuang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Drinking Beside The River, which sold at auction in November 2005 for HKD 120,000.00 (€ 13,129.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Under The Weeping Willow von Xing Baozhuang kam im Oktober 2000 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.900,00 (€ 4.970,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Xing Baozhuang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Drinking Beside The River beobachtet, die im November 2005 für HKD 120.000,00 (€ 13.129,77) versteigert wurde.
