Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy and Painting Series - Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting and Seal by Xue Song was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,487.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xue Song achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei in September this year with an auction result of CNY 1,260,000.00 (€ 163,095.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy and Painting Series - Poetry, Calligraphy, Painting and Seal von Xue Song wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.487,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xue Song erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.260.000,00 (€ 163.095,24).
