Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Christies in Los Angeles held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Black carp ascending a waterfall by Yashima Gakutei. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,142.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yashima Gakutei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giant black carp in waterweeds in September last year with an auction result of USD 81,900.00 (€ 83,716.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in Los Angeles die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black carp ascending a waterfall von Yashima Gakutei zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 7.142,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yashima Gakutei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giant black carp in waterweeds im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 83.716,65).
