Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli & International Art, which included the work Still-Life On Table by Yosl Bergner. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,639.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yosl Bergner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kushan (The Deed) in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 141,847.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli & International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still-Life On Table von Yosl Bergner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.639,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yosl Bergner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kushan (The Deed) im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 141.847,07).
