In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Butterflies And Lamps (Fable) by Yosl Bergner. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,031.85), 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yosl Bergner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kushan (The Deed) in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 141,847.07).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Butterflies And Lamps (Fable) von Yosl Bergner zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.031,85) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yosl Bergner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kushan (The Deed) im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 141.847,07).
