Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Yosl Bergner could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Israeli & International Art auction, the work Winter Flowers changed hands for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,648.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yosl Bergner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kushan (The Deed) in December 2018 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 141,847.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yosl Bergner konnte im Dezember 2014 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Israeli & International Art wechselte die Arbeit Winter Flowers für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.648,38) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yosl Bergner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kushan (The Deed) im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 141.847,07).
