Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Yuichi Inoue achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in August 2020. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Wa (Peace)(Painted In 1972) sold for HKD 330,400.00 (€ 35,708.45) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yuichi Inoue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shisso (Painted In 1972) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 514,682.61).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yuichi Inoue erzielte im August 2020 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Wa (Peace)(Painted In 1972) für HKD 330.400,00 (€ 35.708,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yuichi Inoue erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shisso (Painted In 1972) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 514.682,61).
