The work Girl'S Portrait by Zhang Li was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 37,202.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Li - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shepherd, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 180,000.00 (€ 134,589.50).

Die Arbeit Girl'S Portrait von Zhang Li wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 37.202,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Li mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shepherd beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 180.000,00 (€ 134.589,50) versteigert wurde.
