An art fair reflects on itself

For the tenth edition of the Investec Cape Town Art Fair, director Laura Vincenti has come up with something special: Under the theme of time, the fair is looking back at its development and its impact on the South African art scene. This year, it will take place from February 17 to 19.

With 88 exhibitors, the Investec Cape Town Art Fair celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. Within a short time, it has established itself as an important focal point for the South African art scene and guests from other African and European countries. Cape Town is one of three capital cities in South Africa and an important cultural center of the country. The fair opens its doors from February 17 to 19.

For the anniversary, fair director Laura Vincenti developed the concept time, with which the fair reflects itself. The development of the event and its influence on the South African art world are reflected in the program. Particular focus is also placed on local artists and their latest works. In this way, Vincenti also wants to provide an outlook on the next ten years of the rapidly growing art fair.Art.Salon
