Curtain up for an Artshow in just one evening: on February 14, from 6 to 10 p.m., an innovative art exhibition will be on display in Munich, bringing together artists from all disciplines. Without an overarching theme, the artists will present their positions – young, contemporary artists will also meet famous representatives such as Jonathan Meese and works by Joseph Beuys. In addition to painting, photography, sculptures and drawings, performances and live music acts also enrich the exhibition. The Art of Munich: The view turns at the lighthouse is part of a series of events designed to provide a stage for art without commercial constraints. The Artshow takes place in the young Munich cultural location KUNST BLOCK BALVE, where concerts, theater productions and readings are also staged. The artist behind the project is Frank Balve, who is also contributing a performance to the exhibition.

Among the exhibiting artists is Fabian Eichstaedt, who is taking part in the Art.Salon artist program. Guided by spontaneity, Eichstaedt paints on Multipex or MDF panels that lie on the floor. The artist can thus freely develop the structure of his paintings and is not preconceived as when working with an easel. His black and white compositions sparkle with energy; when viewed for a longer period of time, they even seem to move or flow. Eichstaedt lives and works in Berlin and Hamburg.Art.Salon
