Since its founding in 2009, the Stroke Art Fair has focused on a young art audience and a broad representation of different creative playing fields: from painting and photography to street art, design, music, and fashion, this unusual art fair brings together many genres to create a special event. It thus reflects current cultural developments, in which different forms of artistic expression influence each other more than ever before. The fair has received numerous awards, including the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award. This year, it will open its doors in Munich from May 1 to 4.

Among the participating artists is Mimi Mynz, who will be exhibiting at the fair for the second time after 2024. Mynz presents an overview of her work with paper collages, acrylic works, and risographs. The Munich-based artist is inspired by real architecture, whose elements she translates into two-dimensional forms and new contexts. Expressive colors, influenced by the emotions triggered by viewing the buildings, contrast with the rigid forms of the structures. Mynz thus develops unique compositions that direct the viewer's focus toward calm and reflection.
