For several years now, the organisers of the paper positions art fair have been looking for ways to make creative use of free-standing spaces. In Hamburg, they have found the perfect place for this at Mönckebergstraße 2-4, right next to the main railway station. The second edition of paper positions hamburg − the show will take place there from 29 September to 2 October. The art fair is intended to contribute to making free-standing spaces usable for the creative industries in the long term. Last year it made its successful debut at the Brandshof.

The paper positions stands for a series of art fairs that has already established itself in Berlin, Basel, Munich and Frankfurt a.M. Only paper-based artworks are admitted to the special fair. These are not only drawings, but also sculptures and prints, for example, with which artists demonstrate the diverse processing possibilities of the supposedly inconspicuous material. More than 30 international artists are represented in Hamburg this year.Art.Salon
