Digital experiments with works of old masters

The Clemens Sels Museum Neuss is hosting a special exhibition starting March 06: Find Your Approach! Digital to the Original offers new approaches to well-known paintings. Multimedia-based knowledge transfer and interactive viewing provide an exhibition experience.

March 06, 2022

Superimpose a photographic image over the resulting painting or watch paintings come to life like a scene: In the exhibition Find Your Approach! Digital to the Original at the Clemens Sels Museum Neuss, this is possible from March 6. Under the direction of curator Romina Friedemann, highlights from the museum's own collection have been prepared across epochs and genres for this interactive show, which is far removed from an ordinary museum exhibition. It runs until April 24.

Visitors can also get active themselves, for example by experimenting with digital light painting or drawing with the help of augmented reality (AR). Their own playful experiences complement the new way of imparting knowledge and thus offer a museum experience that could be forward-looking.Art.Salon
