Geneva: Start of the 11th »artgenève«

High-end art at Lake Geneva

Within 10 years, artgenève has become one of the hottest art fairs. On 26 January, it once again invites visitors to Lake Geneva to discover high-end art from international galleries.

January 24, 2023

In the city with the highest density of millionaires in the world, the annual art fair artgenève will be starting for the 11th time. It is not only its proximity to Lake Geneva that makes it so attractive: within just a few years, it has developed into a globally respected fair for contemporary and modern art. 140 galleries will take part from 26 to 29 January 2023.

Artgenève creates spaces for public and private collections as well as a forum that strengthens the dialogue between art institutions and galleries. The programme includes Art Talks, a special area just for sculptures and the awarding of three prizes − the Prix Solo artgenève, la Mobilière and the meta young art critics' award.

Then, on 8 and 9 July 2023, the sister fair artmonte-carlo will take place, organised by the same team, also under the direction of the fair's director Thomas Hug. It will be the seventh edition of the event.Art.Salon
