This year's edition of Art Basel Miami Beach brings together 253 renowned galleries from around the world to exhibit artworks of all genres. The Meridians section, curated by Magalí Arriola, director of the Museo Tamayo, and Cabinet, with 25 participating galleries, are especially likely to attract a lot of attention. The former features 16 live performances and large-scale installations, sculptures, paintings by Jacqueline de Jong and Yinka Shonibare, among others, that challenge traditional representations of social milieus and conventions.
