Christoph Pauschenwein's works welcome visitors to Aqua Art Miami this year: Four works from his Planets series are on display in the foyer of the Aqua Hotel in Miami Beach, where the art fair is taking place. Two additional Planets are presented by the Zurich gallery Van Leeuwen Art, which represents the artist, in Room #209. In his work, Pauschenwein combines drawing and painting techniques with digital technologies to create a unique aesthetic that makes the unknown space between nature and technology tangible. His Planets appear to come from another universe and, at the same time, like fluffy, unexplored organisms that subvert the conventional boundaries between living beings and artificially created objects. The 19th edition of Aqua Art Miami, known for its unique venue, will take place from December 3 to 7.

Christoph Pauschenwein deliberately creates his works without the aid of AI, instead focusing on the craftsmanship traditionally associated with analog art. Inspired by nature, the artist explores complex structures behind the visible in naturalistic oil and acrylic paintings as well as analog and digital abstract works. In some cases, his paintings serve as the basis for the abstractions developed subsequently.Art.Salon
