Online lectures on art and theater in Cameroon and Germany
Two public online lectures on art and culture in Cameroon and Germany will take place on February 17 at 12 pm: Pepetual Mforbe Chiangong from the Humboldt University of Berlin will report on consciousness-raising in theater workshops and Paul-Henri Souvenir Assako Assako from the University of Yaoundé will examine the decolonization of Cameroon in an artistic context.
The Met presents works on paper by Jacques-Louis David
More than 80 chronologically arranged drawings and oil sketches by French historical painter Jacques-Louis David will be on view at New York's Met beginning in February. The goal of the show Jacques Louis David: Radical Draftsman is to trace, above all, the artist's moments of inspiration and progression of ideas.

The Getty Center in Los Angeles will focus on Nicolas Poussin's dancing paintings beginning Feb. 8. The exhibition Poussin and the Dance features works by the French painter and places them in dialogue with art history and contemporary dance.

The application deadline for Swiss Art Expo is still open until February 28. Artists can then exhibit from August 24 to 28, 2022, at the SBB Eventhalle in Zurich - the most visited hall in the city. Personal presence is not required, experienced professionals permanently supervise the exhibited works.

The art of printing is labor-intensive - how poetic its results can nevertheless be is demonstrated by the Weishaupt Kunsthalle in Ulm.
