Copenhagen: Two art fairs in parallel

Three days full of art

They underscore Copenhagen's growing importance as an art hub: The Enter Art Fair and the CHART Art Fair open in parallel on August 28. This year, the Chart Art Fair is focusing on art in public spaces.

August 26, 2025

With its 13th edition, the CHART Art Fair returns to Charlottenborg in Copenhagen: From August 28 to 31, numerous galleries, mainly from Scandinavia, will present contemporary art. In recent years, CHART has developed into a leading art fair in Scandinavia. This year, the organizers are focusing on art in public spaces, which shapes our shared environment and can have a socially critical and community-building effect. Some video works will be presented during the fair on advertising screens throughout the city, for example. The traditional fair area will feature works by Tal R, Bjørn Nørgaard, Kirsten Ortwed, Frederik Næblerød, and Sif Itona Westerberg, among others. The fair also offers a public accompanying program of artist talks, performances, and panel discussions, which is free of charge.

Scandinavia's largest international art fair, Enter Art Fair, will also run from August 28 to 31. It will be held in the former locomotive workshop, less than an hour's walk from the CHART Art Fair. 94 galleries from 19 countries will showcase works by over 350 artists, representing the full spectrum of contemporary art, from paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, glass art, photography, and video to digital art. Founded in 2019, Enter Art Fair is known for its innovative presentations and high quality standards.Art.Salon
