It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,388.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abanindranath Tagore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Siva-Simantini) in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 555,750.00 (€ 410,602.14).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Beached Boat) von Abanindranath Tagore wurde im September 2013 in der Auktion The Art of Nandalal Bose, Abanindranath Tagore and Rabindranath Tagore: The Supratik Bose Collection bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.388,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abanindranath Tagore erzielen.
