It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,388.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abanindranath Tagore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Siva-Simantini) in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 555,750.00 (€ 410,602.14).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Steamer On River) von Abanindranath Tagore kam im September 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.388,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abanindranath Tagore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Siva-Simantini) im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 555.750,00 (€ 410.602,14).
