Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Albert Marquet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October last year. In the Art Moderne auction, the work La Sainte-Chapelle sous la neige sold for EUR 151,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Marquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Plage De Sainte-Adresse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,538,644.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Marquet erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Moderne wurde die Arbeit La Sainte-Chapelle sous la neige für EUR 151.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Marquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Plage De Sainte-Adresse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.538.644,81).
