Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October last year Christies in Paris held the auction Art Moderne, which included the work Le Cargo by Albert Marquet. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 40,320.00 15% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Marquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Plage De Sainte-Adresse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,538,644.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Cargo von Albert Marquet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 40.320,00 und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Marquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Plage De Sainte-Adresse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.538.644,81).
