The work Maisons Arabes, Alger by Albert Marquet was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October last year. It achieved a price of EUR 10,080.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Marquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Plage De Sainte-Adresse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,217,250.00 (€ 1,538,644.81).

Die Arbeit Maisons Arabes, Alger von Albert Marquet kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.080,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Marquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Plage De Sainte-Adresse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.217.250,00 (€ 1.538.644,81).
