Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,242.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexis Preller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mapogga Women with a Child, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 56,500.00 (€ 66,987.11).
