In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Il dolce far niente by Alighiero Boetti. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 45,000.00 29% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alighiero Boetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutto in November last year with an auction result of USD 6,060,000.00 (€ 5,870,386.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il dolce far niente von Alighiero Boetti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 45.000,00 und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alighiero Boetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutto im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.060.000,00 (€ 5.870.386,52).
