Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alighiero Boetti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in April last year. In the Contemporary Auction auction, the work Pio Monti Otto Otto sold for EUR 65,520.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alighiero Boetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tutto in November last year with an auction result of USD 6,060,000.00 (€ 5,870,386.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alighiero Boetti erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Auction wurde die Arbeit Pio Monti Otto Otto für EUR 65.520,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alighiero Boetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tutto im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.060.000,00 (€ 5.870.386,52).
