Admittedly, works by Andres Serrano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Piss Christ in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 233,776.85).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 37.786,09) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andres Serrano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Piss Christ im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 233.776,85).
