Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Torso by Angela de la Cruz was auctioned at Phillips in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,132.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angela de la Cruz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knackered, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 28,750.00 (€ 33,865.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Torso von Angela de la Cruz kam im Februar 2014 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.132,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Angela de la Cruz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Knackered beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 28.750,00 (€ 33.865,09) versteigert wurde.
