Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Vagin Ailé Mercredi by Annette Messager for EUR 6,930.00. This price was achieved in the auction Heaven at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Annette Messager have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 9 piques in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 58,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Vagin Ailé Mercredi von Annette Messager für EUR 6.930,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Heaven bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Annette Messager auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 9 piques im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.600,00.
