Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Annette Messager could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in June 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art Contemporain Vente du Soir auction, the work Fables Et Récits changed hands for EUR 50,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Annette Messager have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2012 by the work 9 piques at EUR 58,600.00.
