Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Balinese Landscape; & Pura Bali (Balinese Temple) by Arie Smit was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,925.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arie Smit achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Padi Fields in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 3,605,000.00 (€ 412,591.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Balinese Landscape; & Pura Bali (Balinese Temple) von Arie Smit kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.925,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arie Smit erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Padi Fields im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.605.000,00 (€ 412.591,26).
