Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hommage à Yves Klein by Arman was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2002. The price achieved of GBP 14,340.00 (€ 22,180.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accord Majeur, 1962 in January 2008 with an auction result of EUR 371,760.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hommage à Yves Klein von Arman kam im Juni 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 14.340,00 (€ 22.180,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accord Majeur, 1962 im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 371.760,00.
