Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,250.00 (€ 19,147.59). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Armando Morales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cuatro Bañistas En Canal De Plantación in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 982,000.00 (€ 929,748.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bodegón Con Papaya von Armando Morales kam im Mai 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.250,00 (€ 19.147,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Armando Morales erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cuatro Bañistas En Canal De Plantación im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 982.000,00 (€ 929.748,15).
