Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Selbstporträt beim künstlichen Licht by Arthur Segal for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,944.50). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Segal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Selbstporträt“. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 375,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Selbstporträt beim künstlichen Licht von Arthur Segal für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.944,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Segal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Selbstporträt“. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 375.000,00.
