Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Guitar by Augustin Ubeda for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,239.57). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Augustin Ubeda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition A La Tranche De Pasteque, Circa 1960 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 6,166.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Guitar von Augustin Ubeda für USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.239,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Augustin Ubeda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition A La Tranche De Pasteque, Circa 1960 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.166,00.
