This work without title by Ayako Rokkaku was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 181,229.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ayako Rokkaku achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Girl with Animals in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ayako Rokkaku wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 181.229,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ayako Rokkaku erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Girl with Animals im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
