Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les Glaneuses by Camille Pissarro was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 137,000.00 (€ 124,613.43). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 19,682,500.00 (€ 23,879,608.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Glaneuses von Camille Pissarro kam im Mai 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 137.000,00 (€ 124.613,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.682.500,00 (€ 23.879.608,50).
