It achieved a price of USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,930.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 19,682,500.00 (€ 23,879,608.50).

Die Arbeit Pontoise von Camille Pissarro kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.930,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.682.500,00 (€ 23.879.608,50).
